I think Mark really likes these statue challenges (perhaps he should be a tour guide in retirement). Maybe some newspaper should run these instead of a crossword puzzle. These first two are a row of statues along one of the Castle walls in Brataslova. The inscription on a sandwich board next to the statues said “Iron Man” in English, but I have no idea what it is all about.
Beneath this text is another “statue” in the old part of Brataslova. It is a tank hanging from some kind of cable. No idea what this one is either.
Much of the work that I do to create content like math games, creative math activities, and modern application problems is unsupported. I teach as an adjunct and do not receive a full-time salary from any of my endeavors. Graphs In The World (GITW) is also a project unsupported by any kind of grant or salary.
