Return of the “Magic” Travel Pillow

Jan 7, 2008 by

I was very sad when I lost my red travel pillow in Prague and the rest of the trip I had a sore neck from all of the strange sleeping positions my body attempted in buses, trains, and planes.

But now I have a new replacement! And just like magic, it does the trick… once you have a decent travel pillow, you can sleep soundly anywhere. The 3 1/2 hour plane ride to Las Vegas (for Joel’s marathon) passed in the blink of an eye… enough to convince Joel that he needed a “magic” travel pillow for the redeye flight home. We both slept well on the redeye flight home.
The 4-hour flight to San Diego? A wonderful nap.
The blow-up pillows are not the same! Accept no substitute!

You definitely look more comfortable than the guy (?) behind you! I do know the airline pillows are no help at all

I have a U-shaped travel pillow and it has accompanied me on many a long (and short) trip. I temporarily misplaced it and purchased a blow-up pillow at an airport. It was definitely NOT the same. I was in the garage yesterday and became really excited that I found it…we are going to Spain in the near future and I was about to buy a new one. In short I share your appreciation of the comfy travel pillow.
